Who we are
Foundations laid with care and precision.

IREAD ECDL envisions Uganda's children having their educational foundations consciously and precisely laid down. Early Childhood Education is vital for children to pursue their highest possible educational achievements — and to ethically contribute to the economic and social development of Uganda and globally.
Vision
All children in Uganda get an opportunity to access education in their early years through technologically assisted Play-Based Learning at ECD Centres.
Mission
We promote inclusive early learning for each and every child from birth through age six by empowering parents, caregivers and educators with digital skills.
Goal
Harness the power of appropriate technology in Early Childhood Development and advocate for ICT integration in curriculum policy across Uganda.
Triple-Tier Approach (TTA)
ICT-driven learning at every level of the system.
Our flagship innovation embeds technology, pedagogy and community ownership into every layer of early education. ICT-Assisted Activity-Based Learning supports literacy, numeracy, play and special learning needs from preschool through early primary.
Technology
Curriculum Design
Custom tablets loaded with interactive, play-based curriculum that operate entirely offline in remote classrooms.
Pedagogy
Teachers Training
Evidence-based learning frameworks designed to foster early cognitive, motor, and social development.
Ownership
Active Learning
We train local parents and educators, transferring long-term management and operational success to the village.

Early learning through active play.
We bridge the educational gap by establishing early childhood centres that are fully owned and operated by the communities they serve. By training local leaders and parents, we build sustainable educational hubs that operate from the inside out.
Inside these centres we deliver a carefully structured, play-based curriculum that blends joyful exploration with targeted cognitive and social development. Children in vulnerable communities do not just enter primary school — they enter ready to learn, succeed and thrive.
